From 10 to 25

From 10 to 25 is a storytelling game about adolescence.

What happens from ages 10 to 25? Find out as you take on the role of a young person, explore new parts of life, encounter challenges, and get the support you need.

About This Game

Adolescence, from ages 10 to 25, is a time of exploration, identity, and growth. As young people navigate their path to adulthood, they rely on diverse experiences, supportive relationships, and accessible resources to thrive.

From 10 to 25 is a collaborative storytelling game that brings this journey to life. Players take on the role of a young person moving through adolescence, combining the experiences they’re dealt with relationships and community resources to shape a story of growing up.

As the story unfolds, fellow players help complete the journey by connecting it to key moments and milestones of adolescent development.

The game builds a deeper understanding of what adolescence is and what young people need to succeed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

There are two ways to play: you can print your own card deck, or you can play online. Instructions for game play are currently at From 10 to 25.

It takes 30-60 minutes to play a full game. Games may be shorter or longer depending on the number of players.

The game is designed to be played by 3-5 players. It can be adjusted for a 2-player game by dealing 8 Resource cards and 8 Relationship cards to the table during setup, instead of just 6 of each. If you want to play with a group of more than 5 people, split them into smaller groups and give each group a deck of cards, or have people team up.

From 10 to 25 is a project of the FrameWorks Institute in partnership with the Center for the Developing Adolescent. The game was created and produced by Root + All.
